We are launching a theater project!
We are happy to announce that our theater group has begun work on a play as part of the FAMI project!
In collaboration with professional actress and director Maria Soroka, the young people are working on texts by William Shakespeare, using monologues and dialogues. Although the specific choice of play is still ahead of us, we have already begun to intensively explore the texts and develop them to create something unique.
These activities are part of the project “Openness to others as the basis for a peaceful future: International Youth Development Centers in Kielce, Wrocław, and Kraków,” implemented with the support of the Asylum, Migration, and Integration Fund under the European Funds for Migration, Borders, and Security 2021–2027.

We have started training for partners from youth conference organizations!
We have completed the first meeting in a series of training sessions for partners on organizing youth conferences. During the first session, we focused on working with young people, with particular emphasis on adolescent psychology and building a safe and supportive space for young people.
The meeting was led by Olena Koltunovych, who shared her many years of experience in working with young people, drawing attention to the challenges of adolescence, the importance of relationships, and the role of the “third place”—a space outside the home and school where young people can feel accepted and supported.
Participants also had the opportunity to share their own experiences of working with young people and reflect on how to better support young people in their development.
We have more meetings ahead of us and further preparations for organizing future youth conferences.

Another training session for partners – on the difference between entertainment and quality free time!
Another meeting has taken place as part of the training sessions for partners preparing youth conferences. This time, the discussion focused on the distinction between the concepts of free time and entertainment, as well as reflections on the contemporary format of youth conferences.
During the meeting, we analyzed the difference between an event focused solely on attractiveness and dynamic form and a space that truly supports the development of young people. We talked about why quality free time – the kind that provokes questions about oneself, the world, and the future – is particularly important for teenagers today.
We also considered the challenges of contemporary youth conferences: the lack of in-depth facilitation, the acceptance of all answers without guidance, and the insufficient connection between topics and the real experiences of young people.
The meeting was led by Svitlana Kelbukova, a tutor at the Unity Foundation.

Do you also sometimes find it hard to understand yourself?
It’s like you live, study, do things, keep moving forward — and yet inside, questions still come up: Who am I?
What do I want? Where, in all of this, is the real me?
And often, instead of honestly pausing and listening to ourselves, we’ve gotten used to pretending that everything is fine — that we’re confident, that we know where we’re going.
But the truth is: so many young people today live under pressure — noise, other people’s expectations, social media, artificial intelligence, comparisons, and constant influence from the outside.
Sometimes that influence is so strong that it becomes hard to tell: is this my choice, or did someone choose it for me?
That’s exactly what the youth conference “I Am in the World. How Can I Influence the World?” will be about.
Here, young people will talk with young people about what truly matters: inner freedom; how we lose ourselves and how we can return to ourselves; the impact of artificial intelligence; and whether I can be not only someone who is influenced, but someone who influences the world.
But this conference isn’t only about serious questions.
It’s also about meeting each other, a lively atmosphere, new connections, inspiration, brave conversations, and the feeling that you’re not alone.
It’s a day after which you won’t leave exhausted — but, on the contrary, more alive, more attentive to yourself, and stronger from within!
This is an event for those who are also searching, doubting, thinking, making mistakes — but do NOT want to live on the surface.
Where: Kraków, address to be confirmed
When: April 25, 2026, 10:00–17:00
For whom: young people aged 14–25
Along with important topics, new connections, and live conversations, participants can expect bonuses, gifts, and pleasant surprises!

The theatre classes are underway, and their main focus is working with Shakespeare’s works.
Our director continually shares new knowledge with the children, introduces them to different theatrical forms, and presents outstanding stage productions that inspire them and enrich their own theatrical experience. Through this contact with theatre culture, teenagers develop a subtle understanding of art as the language of a person and an era.
Regular workshops help the students master new acting skills, deepen their competencies, strengthen their stage freedom, focus, expressiveness, and ability to work as a team. But what is especially valuable to us is that young people independently continue exploring the timeless themes Shakespeare addressed—love, death, truth, life, courage, power…
This is how actors of a new theatre are born—sensitive to words, to people, to inner truth!

Preparations are underway for the speakers for the conference “I Am in the World. How Can I Influence the World?”
Our experts are supporting this process and helping turn ideas into a coherent presentation: building the logic, finding the right emphasis, and choosing wording that will truly stay with the audience.
An important part of the preparation is public speaking lessons, during which we analyze how to keep the audience’s attention, how to work with the voice, and we watch inspiring TED talks.
At this stage, participants are already creating visual presentations for their speeches, making final edits to their texts, and beginning to move on to rehearsal speeches.
Next comes the stage of rehearsals, live practice, and final polishing. And although the emotions are growing stronger, they are accompanied by joy, anticipation, and inspiration ahead of the upcoming meeting!

March 30, 2026
On March 27, we hosted an in-person meeting with our FAMI project partners—and it was a true source of inspiration.
The most important thing we wanted to convey to our partners: a youth conference is not a collection of “useful topics” and certainly not a lecture on “how to live properly.” Today’s youth need, above all, the opportunity to ask questions and seek answers to them: Who am I? Why am I here? How can I make this happen?
To ensure this didn’t remain merely words, we invited young people from the Jedność Foundation and, right during the meeting, showed our partners the format of the upcoming conference, revealing a “working version” of what will take place on April 25 at the conference “I Am in the World. How Can I Influence the World?”
For us, it was also a test: we checked what works, what needs to be strengthened, and what needs to be simplified, and we learned through interaction with the young people who are currently preparing their presentations. It’s a very valuable feeling—when you see that the format isn’t just “designed for young people,” but is born together with them.
Thank you to our partners for your active participation, openness, and willingness to create truly meaningful formats for the younger generation!
