We have created an environment in which, in partnership with parents, a child's decent personality is formed, capable of thinking reasonably and systematically, ethically mature and having a positive impact on society.

From the very beginning, Unity existed in Dnipro, Ukraine. The non-governmental organization was established after the outbreak of war in 2014. A community of caring adults, united out of concern for the future of children and humanity in general, began to act actively.
Psychologists and educators of Jedność (Unity) Foundation developed original programs of out-of-school development of children and youth, created a private kindergarten of humane pedagogy for kids and the Open Academy of Culture - a platform for the development of thinking for adults.
After the full-scale invasion in February 2022, the “Unity” team held online classes in the basement of the office for all their students, but it couldn't go on like this for long. Realizing that the war would not end quickly, and that quality education was impossible in a situation of constant anxiety and bombing, the “Unity” team made a difficult and important decision to temporarily leave Ukraine to help children and adults who had also gone abroad.
For 2 months, we worked almost around the clock as volunteers at the railway station, conducted adaptation classes for Ukrainian children in Polish schools and took care of our 9 students who came with us from Ukraine and whose parents entrusted us to save their lives from the bombing of cities.
Having calmed down a bit after 3 months of leaving Ukraine, we remembered our mission to educate the people of the Future and decided to try to do it here in multicultural Krakow.
In October 2022, we officially registered a non-governmental organization in Poland and now, thanks to our donors and the implementation of grant programs, we can take steps towards our dream!

We are working very hard to raise funds for all the activities of the Jedność (Unity) Foundation.
Currently, the Jedność (Unity) Foundation has 2 main sources of funding: financial support from individuals and the provision of funds for the implementation of grant programs.
Thanks to our donors, we have the opportunity to rent a space for classes in a very convenient location in the heart of the city. This is a great support for us, because now we have a place to invite all our students.
Also, since January 2023, we have written more than 60 grant applications, of which 10 have been won. This is a lot of work that we do every day, but it does not always bring results. Because of this, our team sometimes works as volunteers who do not have the opportunity to receive a salary. After all, children are growing up and do not wait for favorable conditions for funding, and we cannot stop the educational process due to lack of funds for administrative expenses.

The Jedność (Unity) Foundation conducts after-school classes for teenagers and young adults aged 9-25 and psychological and educational programs for adults.

We dream of large and complex educational projects in which we will be able to involve a large number of adults and children, but we are currently limited by our financial resources.
